MCP
Damdit is an MCP server. AI apps that support the Model Context Protocol can use its tools to read your audits and, if you allow it, start audits and change issues.
Add Damdit to an app
Section titled “Add Damdit to an app”In Settings → AI Tools → MCP, Damdit lists the apps it found on your computer:
| App | macOS | Windows | Linux |
|---|---|---|---|
| Claude Desktop | ✓ | ✓ | — |
| Claude Code | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Cursor | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
Choose Add…. Damdit shows the exact entry it will add to the app’s configuration file and saves a backup of the file first; other servers and settings stay as they are. Then restart the app: quit and reopen Claude Desktop, start a new Claude Code session, or restart Cursor.
Another app, or by hand
Section titled “Another app, or by hand”Choose ⋯ → Copy Setup next to an app to copy the configuration, and add it to your app yourself. For Claude Code, Copy Terminal Command copies:
claude mcp add --transport stdio --scope user damdit -- ~/.local/bin/damdit mcpAny MCP app can start Damdit’s server with the command damdit mcp (on Windows, the Damdit executable with --damdit-cli mcp).
