Damdit asks before it installs an update; see Updates and support.

Released 31 October 2026

The first public version of Damdit for Mac with Apple silicon (macOS 14 Sonoma or later).

Damdit audits a website page by page and tells you what to fix first. It only reads the website; nothing on it changes. Projects, audits and reports stay on your Mac.

  • One Full Audit of up to 500 pages: SEO, indexability, accessibility (axe-core), links and URL health, security headers, content, localization, forms and assets, with evidence for every finding. Optional modules: Webflow (read-only), Google Search Console and PageSpeed Insights with the real-user trend from the Chrome UX Report.
  • Overview, Issues, Needs review, Coverage, History and Reports for every project. One issue per rule, ordered by severity; checks that need your judgement are kept apart; Coverage says exactly what was and wasn’t measured. A missing result is never a clean result.
  • Reports for clients, developers and AI tools, in Markdown, PDF, HTML or JSON.
  • History and comparison of audits: what got fixed, what’s new and what changed.
  • Automation: scheduled audits and background audits, also with no window open, and a queue that runs audits of several projects one after another (Queue audit, damdit audit --all).
  • AI tools: the damdit command, an MCP server and an agent skill let Claude, Cursor and other tools read your audits and start new ones.
  • Staging and local websites next to the live one.
  • Audits saved by the earlier native Damdit app open in this version.
  • Checked on real websites: rules and page counts were calibrated on audits of twelve real websites, from a 29-page portfolio to sites with thousands of pages.
  • A local log (Help → Show Log File) to attach to a support e-mail. It never holds passwords, keys or tokens and is never sent on its own.

A 14-day trial with no card, then €12.99 a month or €119.88 a year (excluding VAT) for up to 2 computers. Paddle is the reseller and handles payment, VAT and invoices.

Download from damdit.com/download. The app is signed and notarized by Apple and updates itself after asking you.

  • Mac only for now; Windows and Linux follow (roadmap).
  • Chromium-based rendering: some results differ from the earlier native app (WebKit); the differences are documented per rule family.
